Something similar happened to my laptop, DH took it to a place in Bur Dubai near Bank street called Cute Computers. It cost approx 250 to have fixed and only took the guy a few hours to fix it. I don't have their number as it was about 6 months ago now.

Left the computer on when I went out this afternoon and DH came back to find some unresponsive debugger file on it. I tried to remove it using online guidance but now it won't reboot and we don't have the original install disks. Can anyone recommend a computer repair person near Jumeirah that I can take this to? Don't want to lose the data on it. Any help appreciated. Thanks
