What annoys me is that there are signs up before places are even built! There's been a sign for "Arjan" on the AR roundabout since it was finished in 2008 and Arjan is still under construction.

What bothers me is the well-known Dubai phenomenon where you have to drive miles in one direction and then do a u-turn to come back in the opposite direction in order to get to the other side of the road. Don't even get me started on this one. They have completely redone the roads, taken years to do so, and they still couldn't manage an entrance to Spinney's so that people don't have to make endless u-turns to go there - from both directions?

That they can't seem to use the same fonts on the sign boards? Particularly in the Springs/Meadows area - they have two or three different fonts on the same board. And in some, one word is relatively small and one word big. It makes the whole area look so unprofessional. Rant over. Edited to remove excess exclamation points. edited by guinness on 18/08/2011
