We've shipped some stuff in which has arrived in country. I have to go to AFZ and get some paperwork from the shippers who've told me that I then need to go somewhere else in AFZ and "find a clearing agent".
As a shipper I thought they might be able to help or recommend someone but they said no.

I need to make the trek from the far north on Thursday so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, I've had similar experience in the past. This is for items bought overseas, so didn't belong to us to start with, and so there's a monetary value attached. The shippers require money but I don't know if that's for customs or if this is why I'd need a clearing agent. Oh well, guess I'll find out on Thursday.

I've always cleared my own stuff through the cargo area - I did have to get a stamp here and a signature there within the cargo area and in one instance get one shipment inspected - never needed a clearing agent but mine were several years ago so things may have changed.
