You have to laugh really, how after 10 weeks can she come to the conclusion that it isn't going to work! She was quoted as saying "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision," Kardashian, 31, continued. "I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best." Forever? She didn't even give it a fair chance! One newspaper said last night that they couldn't come to an agreement on where to live! Hello! wouldn't you discuss these things before you marry. Only they will know the real reason why it didn't work or maybe Kris will put it in her next book!

But it's true isnt it? If the accusation is, that she married only for publicity and money then she COULD if she liked marry ten times a year and make loads of both. The fact that she hasn't/doesn't marry 10 times a year should be underlining the fact that she is saying it wasnt a media stunt designed to boost her fortunes. (Mind you...my knowledge of her/them is based entirely on this thread :))

I think it was all a sham to get max publicity and make as much money as possible. I've never watched the shows on tv nor taken any interest in the family's doings but you see them, particularly Kim, splashed all over the papers and mags. The only thing I liked about Kim is that she has a very feminine figure which is a nice change from all the stick thin models and so was a better role model (in terms of body shape only) for younger girls.

To be honest I am very surprised she didn't try to drag it out for the first year so as not to be seen as a fool... I mean the way she was talking in all the interviews she will be a laughing stock that it didn't even reach six months. I got very bad vibes about the whole thing watching the "wedding" special (no other english channel in my hotel lol) they sniped and bickered and fought like no other about-to-be-weds I know- they seemed very immature and childish and like they didn't care about the other one AT ALL. I get that weddings are pressure but most couple I know didn't fight/snipe at each other like that BEFORE the wedding! We all know later on is different but sad to say I think the writing was on the wall way before they got married. Case of didn't know each other and married too soon, very sad! I think the biggest sign this was going to go toe up was the "Kim's Fairytale Wedding" moniker- no mention of him. Also, how did everyone forget that Kim's been married before?! <em>edited by SkyKitty on 01/11/2011</em>

i used to quiet like the Kardashian's but after her trip to Dubai have gone right off them - i really got the impression that she would do anything for money and would only do things if money was involved.... It also turned my stomach a bit at the frenzy she produced in a Muslim country - when we all know what she is famous or rather infamous for..... Divorce for anyone is sad thou. Totally agree, made me laugh that no security guards were telling her to cover her shoulders up at the Mall! I read in Ahlan that she was "too tired" to make a milkshake with the winner of their competition, but instead posed for a photo with them! I think she needs a reality check, there is absolutely nothing real about her reality show or any of the ofshoots.

I know who Kim Kardashian is but be damned if I knew why she became as recognisable as she is now.
