Just thought I'd share my favorite recipes - Robin Hood is a flour brand popular in Canada. I've tried most of them and they all work great, our favorite is the Rustic Brown Bread. ( click on "more recipes" under whole wheat) http://robinhood.ca/recipe-category.aspx?cid=53 [url=http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php'>[img'>http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-eatdrink026.gif[/img'>[/url'>

Don't forget to mention the great pizza dough - or any other dough that you can have it mix, knead and raise, then take it out and bake it. I love mine.

Is there a solution to the hole in the middle problem (other than baking in the oven?). It is a problem with all types of bread makers?

I have Moulinex and so far so happy with it... For us it is so useful especially while my dad visiting us. He can not eat salt and very strict!!! So i was making for him special salt-free bread! Other than that now I'm using it to make some cakes and Pizza dough... Plus you can prepare and program it and you can wake up in a house with fresh bread smell. Its a real pleasure to eat fresh bread in the morning. I've a Moulinex too and use it a lot. I make lots of different types of bread - chocolate, cinnamon, olive & herb, raisin & almond, flaxseed & sunflower seed etc. I slice them and put them in the freezer and it's great to have a selection of breads for making school lunches. I love the smell of fresh bread in the house. It really does not take long to make bread - just weigh the ingredients and place in the tin and the bread maker does the rest.

I have a Panasonic one which I've had for years. I actually thought it had died when I used it recently, but it turns out my yeast was well and truly out of date lol I love fresh bread - but we found we were eating too much - it's really hard to cut thin slices - doorsteps of warm bread with melting butter and honey....... yum

What temperature do you bake in the oven at, and how long for? My machine will make the dough but I can't find info on the cooking part.

I have one and use it when I want a change from normal bread. I prepare the dough in it and bake in in the oven as I do not like the hole from the paddle in the bread.

cost to make and time it takes just isnt worth it, and the loaves have a hole in the middle because of the paddle. dont bother buying.

Haven't tried one but I think it would be one of those things I'd use for a week or so then get bored with. Bread is too fattening anyway.
