Dear Saharagypsyrose You input definitely helps. Thank you very much for taking your time to write it. We want to keep some of our savings in one of the above mentioned banks until we decide on relocation out of UAE. I already bank with Emirates NBD. Overall it has been a good experience but their online savings account only give 1.75% now. I will definitely look into ADCB and RAKbank.

If you are looking for decent interest rate for your savings, I would consider ADCB. One thing nice about ADCB is if you have a regular savings account, you can also open up their Active Saver account online which will give you interest up to 2.25% p.a.(depending on deposited amount) which I believe is one of the best rates in UAE. (RAKBank is offering 2.50% atm) If you have larger savings and qualify for their Privilege and Excellency programs, they offer other benefits like outward Remittance (including TT internationally) 6 transactions free of charge per month. I have been with ADCB for the last 5 years and overall happy with them. However, I think RAKBank is really professional, and the staff is efficient, and so far their Fast Saver account is probably the best out there. Their online banking website is excellent (unlike another local bank which is the worst!) and easy to use. My only gripe is that the branch I go to for their ATM service need to have more machines, as there is always 12 or more people for 2 ATM machines most time and some people take forever for multiple transactions. Sorry can't say much about NBAD even though I have an account with them. HTH!

Hello everyone We are thinking of opening another savings account in UAE and have looked in to Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and National Bank of Abudhabi. ADCB has a online savings account. Any recent feed back on those banks?
