Rhodes Mezzanine in Grosvenor House. I had dinner there a couple of years ago and it was fantastic .. Brit / french food.. wierd because as we were walking around Gary Rhodes was dinning in Sloanes which is the buffett resturant next door ! ( he is very thin ! )

Reflets (Gagnaire) is just amazing ! La Baie (Ritz hotel) is nice as well... Pierchic is more romantic and the food is not so amazing. La petite Maison has good food but this is not what I call "luxury"

I'll second that vote for Reflets. I went with a friend in December and it was great. Pierre Gagnaire himself was there overseeing the kitchen and he was utterly charming and signed his book for us. All the menus are on the website - I have friends who raved about the taster menu but we went for the duck main course for 2 and it was superb. Here is the link with where you can find the menu [url=http://www.diningdfc.com/restaurant/6/1/Reflets-par-Pierre-Gagnaire.html'>link[/url'> ah yes, I also know someone who went there and loved it although was apparently very expensive!

I haven't been, but have read about "La Petite Maison" and its menu looks quite seafood heavy: http://www.lpmdubai.ae/menus/main-course/ Also, would love to go to "Table 9", which replaced "Verre": http://www.lpmdubai.ae/menus/main-course/ Ever since I was brought a Kir full of ice as an aperitif, I've been a bit wary of "Aquarium". It is very quiet, the food is good, but expensive for what it is, but of course, you say that everywhere in Dubai :)
