Pilates at home?

Does anyone know if there are trainers that can come to your home to do pilates with you?

I would really like to build up my strength and lengthen my muscles. I am very out of shape and need to lose quite a bit of weight as well.

However I despise gyms and would prefer a private teacher to joining a class.

I live in Arabian Ranches.

Sue I wouldn't mind if it was a small group, but mind you my level is probably minus 10 :D Thank you Glenfiddich, will e-mail tomorrow but you can remove address.

Oooohh.....I live in AR too and would be very interested if you'd consider having a small class at home rather than one to one. Please let me know if this is an option. I know one or two other peple who may be interested too. Thanks.

But you could go there to ask the trainers, if they or a friend of them is willing to come to your home to earn some bucks ;-) Good luck! edited by SpiritGunner on 29/01/2012

Thanks Angelina, but I don't want to go somewhere, I want someone to come to me. Partly because I am a bit shy when it comes to things like this, partly because I could do with the focus of a teacher and partly because I don't drive (yet) so taking taxis all the time gets a bit much.

have you looked at Balance wellness 360 - they do yoga and pilates classes. They are in Oasis centre and the most they seem to have in classes is 4 (well that's the most i have had in my classes) but is often two people, i even had a private class the other week as no one else showed up (not too much fun as the instructors parting words were "take a steam bath as you will ache tomorrow") They're facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/BalanceWellness360 HTH ETA - it's more like a spa than a gym edited by angelinaballerina on 29/01/2012
