Thanks for all your comments. I'll definitely wait til the birth to find out the ***. Ohhh I'm just so excited. Is it just me or do the last few months go by soooo slowly. I just can't wait to meet my little guy/girl! :D
Oh my birchy...nobody is going to shoot you. ;) It's your bubba and your choice! I completely understand reasons for wanting to find out and I was SO tempted myself. :D For number three, we tried to find out but she kept sticking a foot in the way so we ended up with a surprise anyway. :D
I am going to go against everyone on this thread so please dont shoot me :)
I found out the *** of both of my children prior to the birth, I wanted to know so that we could decide on a name ( mixed marriage) also wanted to paint the nursery and buy everything, I suppose it was the control freak in me, having said all of that if you have waited this long, what is 60 or so more days :) good luck xxx
Stick to your decision Sal. Finding out baby's gender at the birth is one of the last true surprises left to us. There's nothing else quite like that moment in the delivery room when someone says, "IT'S A.....!" :D
I hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and best wishes for the birth of your precious baby.
You have made your decision and has come so far so just wait for few more weeks. let people say whatever they want. we wanted to know right from the start so that we can get ourselves prepared for the arrival (i am 37 weeks right now) these old wives tales are how much correct i don't know. whosoever use to see me or my tummy they would say that i am having a baby girl but the truth is i am having a baby boy :) which has been confirmed y 3 different sonographers!
so just wait happily for your healthy child. all the best dear
Thanks for your advice. I feel much better now. I guess everyone's comments were just getting to me. You're right, I have less 2 months left so I might as well wait. :)
You made it so far so don't let anyone spoil your experience.
With DS we waited until birth to find out as well and everyone was taking a guess. Don't worry once you have the baby they will tell you how to raise him, what's best for him etc... Learn from now on to smile and walk past them ignoring everything they say.
Hi sal 123,
We wanted to know from the start so had a gender test done with our 12week tests. We got a call and they announced over the phone that we're having a "boy baby" LOL
Good luck with the last couple of weeks. You've gone this far without knowing, keep it up and enjoy the surprise!
Hello ladies,
I am 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby. DH and I did not want to find out the *** of the baby and wanted it to be a surprise. EVERYONE i talk to, strangers, family members, they are all telling me I am having a boy. It's now driving me crazy and and making me so anxious to know the ***. DH is telling me we just have a few months left and to wait. Of course the most important thing is just having a healthy baby. But did any of you wait til the end or tried to wait but ended up finding out? Just wondering...
