Thanks, you're right- I was able to do it; although I would advise others to do it at last a week in advance so that there's enough time to do insurance and bank account cancellation/closing.

yes - you can. I sold my car last week. I did sell back to dealer but I don't think that makes any difference.

gentle bump- after reading some old posts, it looks like the visa is ab issue when it's time to buy or re-register your car; but can someone confirm whether I can still sell my car if my residency visa has been cancelled? Thanks.
