Congratulations to all mommies who delivered whilst I was out! I delivered before schedule owing to erratic BP... baby boy Krishnaditya was born on 3rd March thru epi dependant C-section. Back home and in to limited sleep schedule but not one to complain after our miracle baby's arrival...13 yrs of wait! and my elder daughter is great help too.. Lost 6 kgs only but loose tummy is a big worry, lemme try spanx too....

A Miracle child.. our baby Girl Salome arrived on 7th March....here's her birth Story read on if you like... My God is A God of Wonders.... 3 years ago in March 2010 which is after 7 years of marriage... God blessed us with our First born..our son "Samuel" we had asked God specifically for Samuel and he graciously blessed us with Samuel...his birth was and is a testimony ....so many complications during pregnancy...gestational diabetes, high BP, high sugar and protein level, 2 tight knots in the umbilical cord...and yet Samuel came along through normal delivery, perfectly blessed baby, beautiful physically and emotionally!!! 3 years fast forward....My God is a God of impeccable timing!! We were now only just thinking that Sam must have a sibling and 2 months down the line we conceived...no issues this time BP all in control, sugar protein perfect!! At about 32-35 weeks baby is ideally supposed to turn head down, our baby wouldn't head was right up in the ribs!! At 37.2 days mild contractions started doctor said must do a C section, we refused as we wanted to wait...to pray...to ask the Lord to turn the baby around...as nothing is too difficult for him, he is the creator, and can move the stars and the moon with his finger tips...what is a small baby's position for him? Nothing!!!!! We prayed and my beloved in Christ in church stood in the gap and prayed...3 days later...at 37.5days dr's appointment scan done... Baby's head turned down! What Joy filled our hearts!!! Dr said normal delivery let's wait for natural Labor! Dr asked to visit 1 week later...then surprise.. surprise!! at 38.5 weeks scanned baby head was up again!!! We were very disappointed....but yet did not lose hope in our God!! Coz I know and I know that my God is able....dr said we will wait more as it was still 1 week for due date...waiting period started again...dr asked to return after 3 days...when scanned again baby's head was down! My God is a God who neither leaves me nor forsakes me...decision was made for labor induction for normal delivery, induced 6th evening and on 7th March 8:40am the very date I desired for our baby Girl "Salome" was born!!! I cannot thank my Jesus my God enough for his goodness and greatness indeed he is faithful God!! Thank you Jesus for this testimony!! My God is a God of completion and perfection blessed me with 2 beautiful children!! I'm forever great full to you Jesus Christ!!!

Do you have a suggestion of brand or where to buy them Daza I find Spanx the best, I got them at Debenhams in Mall of the Emirates. I also have some own brand ones from Marks and Spencers which are ok but not as good as Spanx.

Congratulations gilliannavarro! I hope the ladies still to deliver are feeling ok, the last few weeks can be so tough. Just thought srdoucet, if you aren't doing it already, I find wearing underwear with strong tummy support really helpful after a c-section. It gives your tummy muscles extra support and makes it easier to go up and down stairs without having to hold your tummy. Added bonus of holding everything in too ;)

congrats to all those who've just had their little ones. Hope you and the LOs are all resting as much as you can and that feeding.... whichever way you decide is also going well. Thanks for the advice Daza. That's what hubby did this time. Makes it way easier. Our little man is doing good. I have no idea where all his weight is because he seems just as small as my other two were as preemies.

thanks Daza. Hey how long do we have to do all the birth certificate stuff?? I can't remember. No idea sorry, I've always left it up to my husband! Although now I think about it, 11 days is coming to mind. It's not long whatever it is. Husband was pretty pleased with himself after doing it this time, he went at about 8.30am, got a park by the door then did the drop the documents and pay 500 dirhams for home delivery option. In and out in 5 minutes and the shiny new certificates were delivered to our home two days later.

Congratulations Simpleplans! Srdoucet, I could put my baby in the carseat as soon as we left the hospital - I stayed in 3 nights. I think the general guide is lift nothing heavier than your baby.

Got home yesterday after my DS came 2nd March as well. What a popular birthday! My delivery went better than I could have hoped for and nothing I expected. I wanted a completely natural birth and ended up with an induction and an epidural. Wish everyone a safe delivery and its the end result that counts ladies. These little ones are in control before they even leave the womb.

Hi I finally got home today. Congrats EDF8. You're a trooper. My DS was also born on the 2nd. He had to be a c section as we found out I have a septum in my uterus that prevented turning. Still unsure how my last two managed to be natural. I highly recommend al garhoud private hospital. Slow doing some things like anything around here but the care was great and so was the food. Even got a framed picture of the LOs footprint.

ok, it's been quiet for few days, something tells me srdoucet had her baby, I guess we just need to sit tight and wait some great news. I am 39w2d today and have an apt on Wed. My baby girl is not showing any signs of coming early. Getting very anxious here!! Hope everyone else is doing well!

Just in case you end up with a c-section, try not to worry too much about the recovery. Babies 2, 3 and 4 were elective c-sections for me and I found the recovery easier than after baby 1 who was natural. Everyone is different but that is how it worked for me. Somethings you obviously can't do after a c-section, carrying around your 2.5 year old will be out of the question for a few weeks. It's best to spend plenty of time with your feet up but you have to do that anyway with a newborn with all the feeding that goes on. After my first c-section I was back driving about a week later, I checked with my insurance company and there aren't the insurance issues that there are in the UK. Good luck with the turning, head down mini srdoucet!

any update Bubble? My bub has been moving lots but still not head down and I'm now 39 w 1 d. Going in Saturday for another painful session of the dr turning LO and if its not a success then off to OR for a lovely c section. Already been told to fast to be prepared. Little concerned with recovery time as I also have a 5 yr old and 2.5 yr old.
