We also had Ken come out to fit our pool fence as well. I found him to be such a lovely gent.

I know this is dragging up an old thread but... I read the first line as 'Ken from Barbie'

I had ken from Baby Secure fit mine and I thought he was very helpful , he turned up on time , installed it the same day and I’m more than happy with the Fencing and Ken.

I have to second Stuart. He was very helpful, and even reinstalled our fence when we moved house. Was very pleased with the service.

Hi, Thanks for the info, we had Stuart (www.poolfence.eu.com) and his guys drop by for a quote...very nice people who were extremely helpful and even offered a solution that saved us money (even though it probaly cost them more work!) We also had quotes from a guy called Ken at babysecur..quite standoffish and not as cheap as Stuart for what appears to be an inferior product. All safe now so happy to let kids enjoy the garden whilst they still can. Thanks again

We had our fence with safety gate (double and self locking) installed by Stuart, he is a great guy, very professional and it is a quality product with a 10 or 20 year guarantee. His number is 050 4568730. http://www.poolfence.eu.com/page1.aspx I looked at both the fence and the pool netting options. I felt the fence was a much safer bet and far more practical, I felt we would maybe use the pool less if we had to keep removing and replacing the net, and from seeing one at a friends house, it not as easy to do as the manufacturers say. However it is nicer aesthetically. But the mesh fence is not too bad at all and it almost becomes invisible. From a safety point, I felt the fence won hands down ! It would be so easy to be distracted and forget to replace the net or not replace it correctly. The possibility of rushing to do something and decide to replace the net later and forget. Also, if you needed to hop out of the pool to answer the phone, toilet break etc, it's easier to shoo the kids out of the pool and lock the gate and know they are safe and away from the water.
