Hi, looking to close my etisalat mobile and switch to Du (office package with Du is better.
I had paid AED 2000 as deposit many years back to enable roaming. Cant find the flimsy paper that was given when I made the deposit.
Has anyone gotten back this deposit without this slip? How?
it should be on your file that you paid x amount for the deposit, its not that long ago when they changed it from 5k to 2k, which we paid many moons ago, but have heard that even tho we paid the 5k they will only refund you the 2k as thats their policy now, not very good is it.
Yes you should be fine just take a letter stating you can't find it, and your usual pp/visa copy etc. Go to the Etisalat branch at Defence R/about (Al Wasl Service Centre). They will probably adjust it as your final bill rather than give you cash though - if your bill is not 2000 then you may have to wait a while for a refund..
