I highly recommend Dr Amirpasha Jawad Ghasempour, though he is in Sharjah. Very reasonable rates, good with kids, and no pain! I chipped my tooth on my second night in Dubai, and went to Dr. Ghasempour on a friend's recommendation. I was really nervous being brand new to Dubai, but it was a better dental experience than I've ever had in the States! Thank you for this info, where is he based in Sharjah (what practice)? I need to replace a filling..argh! Ouch! He's with the Jawad Medical Center, 065621118, and fillings are usually from 200 to 250 dhs.

We go to the German Dental Centre in Fortune Tower on JLT and see Dr. Hamdy. Good dentist and very reasonable. No consultation charge and straight forward filling about 350 dhs. 04 449 5335 Not sure but think they also have another branch somewhere on the S.Z.Road.

I believe Dr Nicholas ASP has a training centre at Dubai Healthcare City All trainee dentists are watched by the qualified ones and have to do dentistry to the highest standards. They are far more cost effective, however I do not have the contact details Dr Joy and Dr Madhu are also highly recommended. I would Google their names and the practice addresses may come up edited by sarahlou123 on 24/10/2013

Can anyone recommend a good dentist that does charge the earth...? I go to Dr Jafar at the Jumeriah Beach Dental Centre opposite the Blue Mall ( Satwa end) on Beach Road. When you say "Doesn't cost the earth" what do you need doing? I am having fillings replaced and they cost anything from 500-800 depending on the size My checkup and X-rays were AED650 and a teeth clean was AED900 The staff are lovely and their customer service is fabulous!
