If you get the chance to pick up internet shopping from uk I highly recommend duvetandpillowwarehouse.co.uk (DAPW) - reasonable prices for great quality/ thread count. I also bought goose down duvet there, having been obsessed with Jumeirah ones but unwilling to pay their prices to buy! Can also get Quidco discounts...

Crapping? I don't know about others but I go by thread count and prefer over 1500, which Debenhams don't do. I also like Lacoste sheets which I have bought in Festival City in the shop under Panda. If this fails then try Jashanmals, they have a nice Spanish brand starts with a V.

There is a shop located opposite Marina furniture in Al Quoz which sells all hotel related items. I brought some hotel pillows in there. Im sure I saw bedding too. I think hotels use a lot of starch so the bedding gets very hard and thick which makes it 'hotel like' you could try buying the starch that you put in the washing machine instead of fabric softener as a first resort?

I'd love to sleep every night in our bed like you are in a hotel! At Souq Madinat, Jumeirah is selling their beddings and linens but they are not flexsible in sizes so I am crapping that off in my option. Egyptian or Italian cottons are very popular. I went to Debenhams and they sell 500 Thread counts Egyptian cotton -a fitted bed sheet size 200x200cm is AED 600. Is this reasonable? Where else can i find good beddings? TIA
