From Al Quoz Pond Park: On your right/near the Mosque would be the start of Al Quoz housing (there are some new houses on the right there, predominantly Local areas) Opposite this are the start of the HH MBR City estates Drive straight and right at the next roundabout and take the right and you'll pass Millennium Estates on your left. At the crossroads take a left and drive straight for about 5km and you'll come to Meydan Heights on your left (Emirates).

I mean the newer development, it looks like townhouses. And they don't look like the link from shakeandbake more simple. There are two developments - one is meant for Emirates pilots and their families. The other is Millenium Estates and you turn right at the "Private Access" road. http://millenniumestates.ae/ They are also building something a bit further up the road so maybe I'm wrong.
