hi I wanted to know some good companies who do AC cleaning and AC vent cleaning. Since 'im pregnant dust been getting to me alot in apartment from AC, pls reccomend good companies who carry out this sort of maintenance.
ideally i would like a company that also cleans and disinfects the vents not just remove the dust.
thanks in advance

We used saniservice too, we had around the same quote. They are good. I must admit, I didnt notice a major difference at first, especially in terms of smell, but it became more noticeable as time went by and the kids are not as sick as they used to be. There is definitely a huge difference since the cleaning.

I had Churchill came out last year for a quote, and after all the time they spent at my house, they never got back to me with a quote!! Waste of time!!! Brummie bird- your quote sounds fine. Mine was 3700 or 3800- depends how many ac units you have.

I've used Jim will fix it before and they've charged 300 per unit so I reckon that sounds pretty fair, especially as they get rid of everything yuck.

Saniservice came this morning and gave me a quote of 3500dhs for our 4 bed villa , does this sound right? The pics he took and showed me of the mould in our ac vents are just disgusting and i definatly want to go ahead and get the service done , just want to make sure im not being ripped off

Chruchill are good too but I must say had I had a choice (my DH thought saniservice were too expensive) I would have used saniservice because I was impressed with everything they did when they came to check out our AC system and give us a quotation. I must say Chrchill quoted us almost half the price and we also used them to clean our water tank

I 3rd Saniservice! I just had them out last week! We came home from our summer break and although we left the ac running, there was a terrible moldy odor as soon as we walked in. My husband and son developed a cough within a few hours. They came in a few days later for a consult and showed pictures right away of our ducts- absolutley disgusting!! A white fungus was on he filters!! And this is after we had the ducts cleaned last October and the AC maintenance done (supposedly) in June. They take care to cover up everything with plastic and clean up after themselves before they leave. Yes, pricey. But its your breathing!!! I had Epsco out last October and I thought they were fine. But I was more impressed with Saniservice. Highly recommend!! After this, i will have our ducts cleaned wherever we relocate to!

Is this price 'normal' or are these companies particularly expensive? Anyone else have recommendations? TIA

Can't recommend Jim Will Fix It highly enough. We've used them for the past three years and had no problems at all. 350aed per a/c unit (i.e. However many controllers you have, multiply that by 350). The engineers are all highly trained and they disinfect everything. Also, the work is covered for 3 months, so any probs they come back free of charge. Call 800 349.

I think the best company is Saniservice. It's a Swiss company. They clean and disinfect a/c in hospitals and ambulances. They clean, then disinfect the ducts as well as everything else. They're not cheap, but the main clean only needs doing every couple of years - they'll maintain it a few times a year with a smaller disinfection to prevent mould spores from growing. http://www.saniservice.ae/ before them, I'd been using other well-recommended local companies (!) who scrub the vents and squirt a bit of Dettol about, but Saniservice went into the ducts with a camera and showed me the mould that had grown on the elements and in the ducts. Then they showed me pictures once they'd cleaned it - amazing. I'll never use another company again. Have to say, I'd had coughs and our a/c smelled a little of damp before I used Saniservice. No-one could solve the "damp" smell, but everything's been great since Saniservice cleaned. I know I sound like an ad, but I believe they do a great job!
