I'm definitely not trying to offend anyone. I'm sorry I come across that way but thanks for pointing it out. I will try to reword or delete. I have zero funds, for a while he has to do all the shopping which is mostly bread, milk and eggs, takes kids separately. I have not been able to have cash for a very long time can't even pinch a few dirhams every now and then. Hate myself letting this happen to myself

Cherpie, I'm so sorry for all what you are going through, but indicating that the "culture" is the reason in all your posts is offending to that culture & religion. There is abuse all around the World, not all mixed marriages end up with abuse. You are with the wrong man regardless of his culture. This might happen with a guy from your own culture. To answer your question, no this is not acceptable and it is abuse. Find a lawyer and get some help. This is not a healthy relationship and you have children who will suffer at the end.
