Does anyone know of anywhere that can do acrylic nails in less than 3 hours where they use a machine to file rather than by hand.

TIA

Thanks! :) Just recalled I have been to that salon. I had my first set of eyelash extensions put on there many moons ago. (The SZR branch).

Can you recall their prices? My nails are rubbish too so gelish is useless on me. Need fake nails! Lol!

I definitely prefer gel/gelish, much less damaging your nail, the result is brilliant, the time is shorter, and bla bla bla :)

huge fan of gellish but have been having it for months now and my nails have gone VERY thin, they're not the strongest at the best of times but I thought it best to have a break and now I'm missing my shiney nails :( havent had acrylic for years (used to always have them done in the Arndale centre in manchester) have they improved at all in terms of how natural they look? I always used to think that the thickness gave them away. Sorry to go off thread here... NBar does really good natural looking acrylic nails however they take 3 hours to put them on and 2 and half for refills!

The Arndale that brings back memories! those delightful yellow tiles??? It looked a lot better last time I saw it though that was probably 3 years ago at least.... I am from Chester so spent most of my time in Liverpool but dated a lad who worked in the Arndale hehe

I'm just about to go to my salon in Souk Al Bahar so will check with them I was a die-hard powder gel fan for 2 years but now I get Gellish (similar to shellac). It's much kinder on the nails, quicker to put on, lasts 2 weeks, and the best thing is that it stays really shiny, unlike the polish on acrylic nails. I love it to bits and won't go back to powder However, if you want a french manicure powder or acrylic is better I have my gellish in French as long as your nails are a decent length then it looks nice

OP I have been searching in vain for this exact same thing for 5 years. It doesn't exist here sadly. In the UK I used to go to those real cheap "American tan" salons with Chinese nail operators who took 1hr to put on a full set or 40 mins for refills. I have sat through hours and hours of beauticians filing my nails slowly here which is infuriating as they stop to chat and faff around for ages. T&T often do take 3 hours to put them on, refills 90mins - 2hrs. Plus they are hugely overpriced. I don't want to relax for hours while getting nails done - it is maintenance pure and simple and I want to be in and out asap. I go to Beauty Connection Spa on beach road (there is also one on SZR) who are quite quick and reasonably priced. They also have about 50 nail technicians so you can get your toes done too or even threading all at the same time. I used to go to the chinese ladies back home they were very quick!
