Yep, LL can't do nothing to your husband. He'll, at most, keep your deposit, and keep the rent for the 2 months AFTER you leave. Depends on what your contract states.

Our contract says 90 days notice either way and that we can leave early but have to pay the LL 2 months as well. We have friends who said they had been made unemployed and had to leave the country to get out of their rental agreement.Hope you get your contract soon and eveything is sorted out.

According to current RERA laws, how many months notice do I need to give my landlord? Our contract stated 60 days but RERA stood by 90.
