I have just started working in a fairly smart office. Up 'till now I have been teaching or working outdoors and now I am trying to force my poor little tootsies into "office" shoes. My feet are killing me! Without resorting to granny shoes, what can I wear?

There isn't such a big choice here but try Marks & Spencers foot gloves, I love them.

I'm not sure if it is the same here but in the UK Nine West did wider fitting shoes, which are also fashionable and comfortable.

I have large, very large, wide feet and have to buy my shoes from specialist shops. I use Zappos.com all the time and can't praise them highly enough. I order online, have them sent to my aramex shop and ship, and 5 days later I have the shoes. You can keep them for a year before returing them for a full refund if the dont fit and when they don't I give them to a friend when she goes back to the states for her summer holidays. MY actual shoes size is a Uk Size 10ww and the shop goes up to about a UK size 13 or 14. I think they must have transvetites and Las Vegas showgirls who buy from them as well because thats how a lot of the specialist companies started out. However Zappos is not a specialist company, they sell shoes for everyone. I used to be a flat sandal girl and now I totter around on heels most days of the week now I can get them to fit me.

Naturalizers are good too. There's one at Lamcy Plaza. You're asking just in time for the shopping festival. :-D You can find them also at Ibn Battuta

Ive spent the last 3 years in open toes slip on and flip flops most of the time, and whenever I put a pair of shoes on to go out on an evening my feet kill me, I have blisters etc, I do think our feet change shape. I swear by Clark shoes, you cant go wrong.

Geox all the way. At first they might feel like any other shoes but once they adjust to your feet it's like wearing your old sneakers... Careful not to buy too big, they stretch.

Tamaris & Caprice from Chic Shoes are good as well. The branch in Festival Centre is goo, there is also a stand alone Tamaris in Festival Centre.

Rieker too - but I don't know where you get them here You can find Riekker, Mephisto, Sofft, Gabor shoes at K Corner shoe store. They have a branch in Town Centre on Beach Rd, a branch in the Outlet Mall and a branch near Lamcy Plaza. All of these brands are smart and comfortable and worth buying in the sales!!! I always found Clarks to be a bit narrow for my wide feet.

Bought some shoes at Nutral(something) in MOE for xmas hols and blister pads for my heels in boots and no problem :) Got to be the most comfy shoes i ever bought. Also got boots. On the up side family comment on my UN bunioned, UN corned, smooth feet :)

Clarks all the way!!! I was forced into wearing them as a child but back in those days they were as frumpy as frumpy could be!! Nowadays they are far more elegant and comfy too!!!

I like Clark's shoes. They are smart but also comfortable. Also, Hush Puppies.
