Does anyone live in or have lived in Al Badia Residences near Festival City? I'm waiting for their leasing people to get back to me but just wondered if anyone had any experience of living there (pros and cons) and if it's not too much info what the rental prices are like. We're probably looking at 3bed apartment or villa.

Thanks in advance for any comments :)

145,000 is about the normal for a 3 bed apt. They are not cheap and the last villa rented was 235,000 but NO more there are so many empty and have been for past year but they will not rent them only sell.

Thanks for that - we are in a villa just now but happy with an apartment and thought there could well be a bit of a wait!! Ideally we don't want to move till Dec/Jan but thought we'd start looking into it now as I understood might be difficult to get in. I noticed new villa's/apartments under construction so fingers crossed they will become available If you don't mind me asking, what is the rental price - ball park figure is fine - we just don't want to keep chasing if it's outwith our budget!!! If you'd rather not say then I understand! I just wish the leasing people would return my calls :(

Fabulous if u can get in that is. I know at the moment only Hillside available. There are NO villas as they are trying to sell them and will not rent them out! We have been here 3 years and seen the improvements. So many young children so if u have them they will love it. No negatives ..only that the pool area is packed at the weekends now and they sell memberships and people from Mirdiff come here. Hopefully u get in but don't count on it!
