Askm Ladies

Wanted to try out some of the classes at Al Huda Sisters. Their website looks good and they sound really nice. Have heard good feedback about them from other friends, but when I have tried to contact I get no reply. Have any of you attended any of their classes or talks and what did you think?

She is ma she Allah almost done memorizing the Quran. She started at a young age. She will be moving in the same area. Please advice. We are looking for a private teacher who can help further her.. with special instructions in Urdu. Thanks.

Asalaam sisters, i also want to join these classes inshaalah. Do you have to have a certain level of quranic knowledge and recitation? is it ok to be a complete beginner? Hi Almas24, no you can show up as a complete beginner. You will not understand everything the teacher is saying at first, but if you keep attending, you will soon understand. They even have a website where you can find the notes for previous talks, sistersnotes.wordpress.com

where are they located? On the same street as Collegiate American School. Coming on Al Wasl rd towards MOE, once you pass Al Manara Rd, take a right turn on Street 27C, then left on Street 34 at the T junction. They're located in the last villa on the right side just before the T junction with Street 41B (which also connects directly with Al Wasl, in case you miss the right hand turn on St 27C). Park in the gravelly sand lot. I now attend a class Sunday mid morning, but I wish I had the time to also attend their Tues and Thurs all-morning lectures, they are fun. Hi apricot. The streets now have names so street 27 is Al Qubba and street 34 is Maydar. 41 is Sama'a .

I love Al Huda Sisters. The classes are fantastic and in English which is a big plus for me. I attend 3 times a week for their Quran classes. They also offer Arabic classes. The teacher is great and very sweet. The girls there are all very friendly and welcoming. You probably didn't get a respond because they were on break. Classes resume today. You can go in, there's a reception to the right once you walk into the property. The lady there can get you started, how to sign up, the schedule, etc.
