Ethiopia has put a ban on maids been recruited to work in UAE so you may find the agencies are unable to help you with this unless they have them in the country

Hello Loranaji, Could you please provide me with a number for an agency which provides ethiopian maids? I heard of an agency who has readily available ethiopian helpers, which you can try for a month, and then make them permanent.. I think this is the only choice now with the ban is to find an agency who has helpers in the country looking for a permanent job..or a family leaving behind an ethiopian nanny.. Your help is much needed and appreciated.. Google Labour supply dubai and unskilled workers and you will get lots of agencies. you can then specify your choice of nationality.

I have tried earlier but it is difficult to find an Ethiopian here in dubai with a proper visa or visit visa the maids that are willing to work are mostly on illigal basis .. but you can try out by posting an ad on gulfnews or other newspapers you migth be a lucky one :) otherwise go to a labour supply agencies and get one from outside... I remember Ethiopions had the cheapest cost around 2000 dhs for the agency this includes ticket, price could vary from one agency to other. pls 2500 deposit + 5000 visa fees + some other fees like medical and typing not sure how much. and their salary was around 800 Dhs. you will be given their passport copy to apply for visa. once you get it you will give it to the agency and they will bring the maid to dubai after that you have to go for medical and visa stamping. I hope this will help.
