The food is fine at the Golf Club, not restaurant level, but they're not trying to be. More like pub food as stated already. They do serve pork. Service is hit and miss. The Polo Club, in my experience, is awful. Have not tried the formal restaurant, but the food they serve outdoors is horrible and the service consistently appalling. I think they're really missing a trick as the setting is beautiful.
Absolutely agree, its very dissapointing both could be a much better, strangely I had my DD bday at the Polo club and the food buffet we had was really good, better than any food I've had at the polo club! I went to the brunch there once and thought it was poor and yet packed. Service is dia in both :(
Christmas Day is 395dhs with booze included. Not a bad deal - we looked at eating out last Christmas in the UK and it was easily around 70 quid a head with no booze.
They do serve pork. The food has got better lately, think they have changed the chef. Heard a lot of good reports about Christmas Day there last year. Hope this helps. :)

Oh ok not sure if the in laws would be up for that then Lol, but then again they dont wants to pay the equivalent of 70 gbp for an xmas dinner so they may have to just do with it, driving me mad trying to sort xmas out, if it was just us 3 we would go to Irish Village but again not their cup of tea :(
