...what's the commute time in the morning for the school run from AR to one of the Safa Park schools please? Is it doable or a struggle? What route do you take? TIA for your help.

Thank you ladies. Just drove there today and looked at some houses in AR (Al Reems), it seems that depending on where you are located with AR, it could take a while to come out onto the main road....the main drive seems fairly straightforward and MOE is close. oooo - geting excited now - you moving to ranches ???? :D yes the perimeter road can take 15 minutes lol - from our place it's about 5 minutes or so..and yes MOE is dead easy even i can find it lol

hi SB. In the mornings it totally depends what time i leave - 6.40 will get us there 7.05 whereas 7.00 will take half an hour or more due to the queue of traffic getting off SZR. It's a nice easy drive with very little traffic - umm sequiem street, al kail, meydan street, very brief SZR, service road (before Oasis centre on left) and you're there.

I do this every day, twice a day. Its almost always 20 minutes. I go Al Khail road all the way up to Safa Park and then just go straight across the bridge over Shk Zayed Road and I am at the T junction of Union Coop/Safa Park.... that only takes 20 minutes, then to my sons nursery I have another 5 minutes or so as its in Jumeira 2. Its not such a problem to me as I like driving, and I am always doing something around that area in the mornings so I dont have to turn around and come straight back. Give it a try, you might be surprised how quick and easy it is on Al Khail Road.
