Kazims in jumeriah centre? Beqch road have quite a good selection. Its the centre adjoined to magrudys, always get them confused along beach rd.

Are you after paints, canvases, brushes etc.? You can find some, not sure about the quality, from some bookstores like Booksplus or Magrudys or upstairs in Lulu Hypermarket. There's also an art supply store (a small one) opposite the old DUCTAC library at MoE. No idea of their prices though. It looked like quality stuff, but when I asked for plaster of paris there I got a blank look. Found the plaster at ACE hardware of all places. Crafty textile bits can be found in the fabric shops close to Satwa Bus Station. If you're after decorating your own greeting cards I saw some paper craft bits at Virgin in MoE. Carrefour stocks canvases, paint brushes and poster/arcylic and watercolour paints as well as crayons, felt tips, pastels and charcoal.

Dubai Library Distributors - I have visited the Bin Sougat Branch @ Rashidya Shopping Mall Phone : 04-286-2400 (apparently the DLD on SZR is the biggest) In the Beach Centre (on Jumeirah Beach Road) there is a teacher's art supply shop. I also get bits from Borders bookstore (at Mirdif City Centre). Even in Carrefours there are some bits. I think you could probably get everything you need, but not necessarily in the same shop.
