Hello,

I'm trying to find out what the best way is to download books onto the ipad. I have downloaded the ibooks app and gone to their 'store' but couldn't find what I was looking for (Katie Fforde and Robert Muchamore). Anybody got any tips? TIA

Get the Kindle app - it's free. Then there are loads of free books available for the kindle.

I use amazon, great selection, much better than iBooks.

Alternatively, you can get the 'downloader' app, which is a browser plus a reader. You can both download and store books on it.

Well, I don't know what the 'right' way is, but i have found a shortcut. I have made an account on dropbox, which is a file sharing software. You will have to download it on your PC. You will have to get the dropbox app on your ipad too. Anyway, whichever book I want, I download on my PC, and then store on dropbox. Then I access it from the dropbox app on my ipod. And voila, I get e-books on ipad. I usually google the books I want to find links to download them. Most could be found on 4shared dot com Technical, I know. But it works.
