Have had a few cut and colors with Zahira at the JBR Hairworks and she's excellent! I have started going to Jewels in Ibn Battuta and she's fabulous as well. :)

Nabiha is fab, she listens to exactly what I want and is never pushing me into having treatments or buying products (I hated that back in the UK). I've recommended her to 4 friends so far and all of them have been really happy. She's really lovely too, I look forward to my hair appointments with her!

Thanks so much for the valuable info! I had read through several threads on this forum looking for a stylist in JBR/Marina area for a cut. last week I called Hair Works in Rimal, set an appointment with Nabiha based on her great reviews and lack of any negatives. (none that I had come across) She is AMAZING. I love my stylist in TX, but I don't go enough to skate by without getting cuts here too. After getting a near mullet in Abu Dhabi at the Beach Rotana salon in December, I was gun-shy to try again...but Nabiha understood exactly what I wanted, and I really didn't have to explain in depth. 1) I am trying to grow my hair long 2) please don't give me a mullet 3) wanting a "sexy" style--not a "smart" one. Nabiha assured me she had me covered. Voila, probably the best cut I have ever had; shocking because it was in horrible shape to begin with--6 months with no trim and pitiful shape, despite superior products in my arsenal. Nabiha explained that most expat women experience "blah" hair because of the water, weather, and recommended options. She even gave me a complimentary Redken treatment which I rather liked--likely will opt to buy one next time I see her. I read on another thread here to give L'Occitane shampoo/conditioner a shot; Nabiha concurred that the product is good and didn't try to sell me other various products they sell instead. And yes, thankful again to this forum, L'Occitane is nicely keeping my hair soft and moisturized. Phyto just doesn't cut it for me here like in the US. Hope this helps!
