4 of us just stayed at the jumeirah zabeel saray on the palm. they are doing a great deal for one night plus iftar and breakfast - it's about 1800 for the room.
Umm no the Banyan Tree Al wadi package is good for what you get as it looks very similar to Al Maha but obviously much cheaper! We stayed at Al Maha early July and it was gorgeous, not as hot as now and we could do all the outdoor activities like camel rides and sundowner drinks on the dunes. I think we paid 2600 for the night, as I booked it well in advance and got the cheapest summer rates.
just to be clear : 4500 DHS per night???? is cheap!!!!!!! i just looked on Al-Maha website and i got this number (for 1 room one night)!!!!

Yes, Banyan Tree Al Wadi is amazing and like Al Maha - we went there for our wedding anniversary last year. The Gonabit offer looked very good and I was very tempted!
Shamat, I was really surprised after all the good things I had heard on here, was especially annoyed as there is a fab package deal on for Banyan Tree Al Wadi in RAK which looks amazing and we spent about the same as that on food/drinks etc. in the Hilton as that would have been, so would much rather have gone there!! Oh well now there will be two bad reviews on tripadvisor :)
There is a Mastercard deal on for Atlantis which is 1495 with room, breakfast, kids club, plus 800 dhs dinner voucher. We are going there this weekend for that one, so hopefully it will be better than the RAK Hilton fiasco!
Banyan Tree Al Wadi is 1395 I think for a private villa, breakfast plus lunch or dinner, with free use of the mini bar and discount of spa treatments. Looks quite similar to Al Maha, which was amazing!!
www.booking.com has some flash deals on at the moment - have a look today before they end!

Fab link. Thanks for sharing
:)
Atlantis has a special on at the moment. One night stay starting from AED 2130, which inlcudes dinner at Nobu x2, valued at AED 1000. breakfast at kaleidscope x2, swim with the dolphins x2, entrance to Aquaventure and Lost chambers. Valid till end of August I think. Though it was a good deal
I've never stayed at the RAK Hilton R&S, but have stayed at the city Hilton which I loved. We used the beach facilities at the R&S, and to be honest it put me right off ever paying the extra to stay there. The staff were unhelpful, the children's club was, um, not worth using, the changing rooms were closed and we had to walk a mile (heh, or what felt like a mile in the heat) to find somewhere to sell us a bottle of water.
The City Hilton, however, has no pretentions to being anything it isn't. There's a small pool with bar (although the bar closed very early, so no sunset cocktails!), the service is the friendliest in the country, the staff in the main restaurant are probably the most helpful in the country, and we love the surf 'n' turf restaurant. You can use the resort beach facilities should you so wish (there's a free shuttle). It's good and cheap and we will be returning!
Oh thank heavens! I thought I was the only one who hated the RAK Hilton Resort and Spa! We had a dreadful weekend there a year ago and on Trip Advisor it feels like mine is the sole review critisising the place! It gets brilliant feedback on EW and I can't understand why!
Sorry you had a shocking time BellaUK, obviously. Its not really good enough for an international chain, and I'm dismayed to hear they are taking over Al Hamra Fort Hotel too. Another one bites the dust . . .
Stayed at the RAK Hilton Resort & Spa last weekend and it was awful. Nice surroundings in general but nothing amazing. Rooms werent ready when we got there but got fed up of waiting so we were sent to use the 'facilities', outdoor changing rooms and toilets were awful but we had no choice as we had no room! We were then told there were no towels left and to wait 15 mins for one, by 4pm still no towel or room i was royally peed off and stomped to reception in clothes soaked from my bikini where they finally had a room available. No waiter service or food service by the pool, totally rubbish and wouldnt go back!

Right behind Mall of the Emirates is Citymax hotel -- seems to be all right and advertising pretty cheap rates!
Or perhaps even cheaper -- Ibis Hotel. 150 AED a night? Hmm......
this website was recommended but I haven't used yet, just put in details for one double room this weekend and there are the results .....

Check Hilton hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. We stayed there last month, amazing everything, best service, we had to extend our stay.
It was super cheap too, half price of hotels in Dubai...
May i know if it's hilton RAK or Hilton RAK Resort & spa?
Thanks!
We stayed at Hilton RAK for 340DH for a king room including taxes and breakfast. A steal.
Fantastic stay, hotel was almost full btw, mostly european tourists. They have a nicest staff ever, very accommodating. I can`t wait to go back :) We spoke to the manager, he was saying that even during the summer hotel occupancy in around 85%, which i think is pretty high compared to others.
He also told us that Al Hamra Fort was bought by Hilton. And one more hotel is under construction. So soon there will be 5 Hiltons in RAK.
They have a free shuttle to the Hilton Resort and Spa, we went to check out the pools, beautiful grounds and sea-water swimming pools, but it was so hot that we almost didn`t stay out. They also have a Duty Free inside the hotel. We had a dinner at a charming italian restaurant, used Entertainer vouchers. Great food and again amazing service.
I hope you will enjoy it :)

This is definitely the best deal I have seen around!

Another idea: my friend has told me about the "top secret hotels" deal on lastminute.com. Basically you pick the destination you want to go to in Dubai, and they choose the hotel for you, and you won't be told until your departure. Because we all know about the hotels, sometimes its quite easy to identify them, and the prices are extremely good. Might be worth you checking it out.
I think the summer deals this year have been really poor - I'm looking to book for adults as well. The best I can come up with is Hamra Fort Hotel in RAK, prices starting at 700AED per room B & B and Jebel Ali Hotel at about the same price, but neither of these could be described as that cheap. I also noticed that the Meydan are doing a buy one get one free offer on the Entertainer Special offers this month.
My vote goes to Hamra Fort despite it not being a bargain, as I know from my previous stays there that the rooms are lovely, some watersports (eg. windsurfing) are free there, the food is good, and there are Entertainer vouchers in the family Entertainer book for many of their restaurants, including their international buffet.
Good luck with your search.
hi! My family and I are planning to stay at some hotel for relaxation. Does anyone know any good offers with free buffet? Ive seen many offers on the net but it's only for couples with kids. I want a cheap one coz my kids are already adults (21 and 24) so we have to book 2 rooms. Thanks!
And with International buffet please! all offers that i read are all arabic cuisine..
