I use skynet all the time and they've very good. You'll need to provide them with a 'pro-forma' invoice-basically a blank A4 piece of paper with your name and the recipients name, the contents on the package and 'value' (*care your recipient will have to pay import tax on anything over GBP50 I think it is so keep the 'value' low)and sign it
Tips- Never say if its cosmetics or food in the package they wont ship it. I have set lip gloss back to friends as gifts before but said it was something else
Dont try and send new clothes back and say they're new otherwise there is some weird receipt you need to get and its impossible to get practically. Always state that they are personal goods being returned to the owner-as if they've been to Dubai and left them at your place and you're returning them.

I found this recommendation earlier on EW and used them last week. They pick up the package from your home. Hope that helps!
Thank you both. I was thinking about a fedex type situation as it's halloween costumes. That postal kiosk sounds great for future reference though.

When you say 'shipping', do you mean Fed Ex & UPS type?
I sent some parcels home to Oz, and I used a little postal kiosk shop near Crowne Plaza on SZR, it was about 40dhs to send a small parcel. Not sure how big yours are but they went by weight. I don't know what kind of shipping it was or how fast, I know it wasn't super fast but the stuff got there ok. I sent some piles of photos I had printed out to my grandmother, so it would have been about just under a kilo in weight for 40dhs.
It is in the building where the Subway is next to Crowne Plaza, there is a stationary shop and then the little internet cafe/typing office that does postage. I know they have a website/email address but cannot recall the name right now. If anyone knows the place I mean you can get the name then you could email for a price listing.
Hi
I was hoping to send some gifts to our nephews in Ireland but all quotes for shipping seem to be working out more expensive than the gifts.
The items are not heavy but because they are non-document they seem to be expensive.
Any recommendations of cheaper ways to send?
Many thanks
