Ookay, so I'm the last person on the planet to get an iPod and I want to load it with music but *whispers* I don't know how!!!

Is it possible to buy from the UK iTunes store with a credit card registered in the UAE?

Does the UAE iTunes store have music? (I couldn't find any!)

Thanks
TechnoDinosaur

Just highlight the ones you want to remove from the list of contents when you're hooked up to your pc and then right click and select delete. It will only delete from your i-Pod so will still be in i-Tunes.

sorry to hijack but how do you remove tunes from the ipod? my ipod is full so I want to take some music off but leave the rest on BUT I want to keep the 'removed' ones in my itunes..? Do you have the box ticked on Itunes saying sync all checked items only? If so then untick the box next to the songs you want to remove. When you next plug your ipod in it should remove these i think

Can't believe how expensive music is in the Uk store!! I thought it would be cheaper online than buying CDs. The individual songs are expensive but the flip side is you only have to purchase the good songs from an album. So not really a waste of money.

Thanks so much for all these replies. I've managed to upload some CDs onto my computer - and I think I know how to synch the iPod. Wow, hitting the 21st century. Can't believe how expensive music is in the Uk store!! I thought it would be cheaper online than buying CDs. You can download for free from some sites ( i wont say on here how you do it hehe )

to OP: OMG I know how you feel. I got my iPod more than a year a go but took me months before I was able to load music into it. Now I rarely use it. I finally figured out how to use iTunes but I find it too complicated!

At the very bottom right of the Itunes home page is an option to change countries (look for a round flag), so you can shop in any Itunes shop in the world and then just change it back You can browse any iTunes shop in the world, but to buy from most of them you need a bank card with a billing address in the relevant country. You can't buy from the US store with a UK card, for example, and you also need a separate iTunes account for each country. It's possible to get around the restrictions by buying iTunes gift cards. Say you've got a UK account but you want to buy something from the US store; you can buy a US iTunes gift card (typically from eBay or similar), then set up a new account at the US iTunes store (you'll need a different email address to the one used for your UK account, plus you have to give a US mailing address - you can give any at all as long as it's a genuine address) and on the "Payment Method" page you choose "None" and enter your gift card serial number.

Its OK all of us have been there at one time or another. One thing you can do after you download Itunes for free onto your computer, is transfer all your CDs onto Itunes. This is a lengthy process, but worth it. Then you connect your Ipod up to the computer when Itunes is running and they will synch over. as for Itune store, you can set your account up with no problem I am sure. At the very bottom right of the Itunes home page is an option to change countries (look for a round flag), so you can shop in any Itunes shop in the world and then just change it back. By the way, when I run into Apple troubles (which is often) I just google my question pretty much verbatim, and the answer has always popped up - thank you google, so if you need any more info that is a great resource - happy listening

Don't forget you can load all your own music/CD's onto it.
