desert safari unpleasant experience

My daughter and her companion had a wonderful eve with a well known reputable desert safari company last night, aside from the fact that her breast was deliberately grabbed and pinched by the man doing the camel rides, whilst 'assisting' her to hop onto the camel.

I have written to the company in question informing them, and am not in favour of public forum slaughtering so do not wish to name and shame them, however I would be interested to hear if this has happened to anyone else (as this man could be a serial offender to our young daughters), and also to make others aware... though ofcourse there are 'grabbers' everwhere... but especially for young girls who may be caught unawares by this sick individual whilst out on an otherwise very enjoyable event.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, she did not react other than to push his arm away and inform her companion, and then decided not to take things further at the time as it would simply have been his word against hers. In hindsight she is sorry she didnt scream and slap him, though she says she felt vulnerable and a little afraid, and perhaps its best she did not.

I have written to the company, and perhaps it is not the first complaint they have received, in which case I trust that the individual will be severely reprimanded and prevented from doing it again.

Sorry to hear that Nutty, that mustve been very scary! As you say, its sometimes easier just to put it behind one and forget about it, but i hope this thread raises awareness and in particular to the camel guy for when others have daughters/family/friends going off on safari, so that if it happens again warning bells will start ringing that he is a habitual offender and this was not just a once off opportunity that he took.

I'm very sorry to hear that this happened to your daughter. It is perhaps worth reporting to the police as maybe he will not be charged btu they do keep a record and if it happens again then a case will be filed. I had a bad experience with a well known desert safari company a few years ago where the driver would only allow me to sit in the front and kept trying to find excuses to touch me IE helping me in and out of the car and touching my arm etc when he spoke. A few days after the trip he kept calling my house number even though had booked it through my mobiule no and was seen outside my apartment building, contacted the police and gave a statement and never heard from him again. These vermin rely on young girls not saying anything and questioning themselves and should be brought to justice.

I'm sorry your daughter had to go through this. I hope you get a resolution of sorts.
