Thanks in advance

Currently, there is *no* choice about your internet provider. The place where you live will either be supplied by Du or Etisalat, and you cannot switch to the alternative without actually moving to a property serviced by it. In general, most of the new developments of the last 10 years or so are Du, with Etisalat being in older areas. There are exceptions, but not many. Supposedly, in future we *will* be able to switch between Etisalat and Du for internet and landline, but they're still building the infrastructure to make that possible. edited by Madge_Gustard on 09/05/2014

For TV, you can always go to OSN directly for TV channels :) not through du or Etisalat. It comes through the dish so you just need to check if your apartment allows that to be installed. That leaves you to decide on who to use for Internet. When we were in the apartment, we used a notebook usb dongle because it would be hassle free when we need to move about.

You cannot generally choose. Where you live determines whether you get Du or Etisalat. Where is your apartment and then we can generally tell you which you are getting.

I'm not sure if you can choose between Etisalat or Du, can you? I think you can, I have been given an Etisalat router by a friend who just left Dubai, in my old place the router was Du. Searching these things online confuses the **** out of me.
