Thanks ladies I have more info. Near Canvy Island ;) Lakeside sounds like a good option too as with baby I can imagine parking will be easy - good option. Just that the restaurants listed are nice, but not really tickle-my-fancy type. But is defo on my list just incase. Thanks again

I'm from Essex! Where abouts in Essex are you meeting them? Know of a few decent places all over the county. If you want something easy, then Lakeside Shopping Centre has lots of restaurants, plenty of well known chains on the cinema side by Brompton Walk.
