Hi Ladies, I was strolling along the mezzanine this afternoon with DH when we passed Valery & Co. Is this the ladies salon? Any idea when it will open? Does anyone know when the Ming Bowl, Lebanese and Russian restaurants are due to open? I noticed the seating set up outside the Lebanese today but no activity inside. Thanks

I am MORTIFIED however of the balcony situation... how do you guys cope.. are there any apartments without balcony? thoughts please.. i have 2 weeks before i need to move hey!! i live in a 2 bed apartment in tower C with a balcony and i have 2 yr old. Even i was worried like you. But fortunately the balcony door are lockable, so you could always keep the key off the door.

The towers all angle slightly differently so it depends what sort of a view you would like and whether you want to oversee a pool or be away from one etc etc or have a sea view/Burj Khalifa view etc You can also look on Dubizzle.com, bhomes.com, etc You should go and see quite a few different apartments as they all differ in views etc.

Serenchic you just need to have very strict rules re nobody on the balcony without you, and locked with no access to locks by children. You will need to install a 2nd lock as the ones that are existing can be opened by a determined child! You can install one at adult reaching-high height, someone like Jim'll Fix it (or a DIY DH) can do it for you.

Why are you so freaked out about the balcony situation? As long as you don't put any chairs outside then the walls are high. Plus, I've heard you can get balcony locks but I don't really know the details. I have a 4 and a half year old and an eight month old and I've never worried about this (I'm on a high level!). Alternatively, I've seen a 3-bed in Tower F that doesn't have a balcony, so maybe you should try that tower? I'm not sure about the other towers. Personally I need my balcony for the washing :D

I have been living in tower C for a year now, and i love this place. I do wish the roads works would be completed soon, but there are on a faster pace from when i had moved in. Im waiting for more restaurants to open up. I have a 2 yr old, dont know if they have a kids play area. I know the green space for kids, been there once with her but noticed all kids come with their nannies. Wondering if there is a mother-kids group. Im a working mother, and would like my daughter to spend some time with other kids.

Feet Lounge is getting there, they've removed the boards but still needs the equipment it says "reflexology and spa"...sounds good! Also London Dairy is apparently open! Finally, is there any truth that Taziz sent out another email about the roads? Someone mentioned it but I don't know whether it's a credible source or not! Something abt another change and that west heights have to exit from the back??

Hi there, you get the form from the sales centre and keep a copy of the your filled out form as they might not pass onto security at car park entrance then it's big arguments on move in day.

Hi, We have just leased an apartment in Tower M and hope to move in early next week. It was mentioned that we need some paperwork to move our belongings in - can anyone help with where and how I can get this paperwork? Really looking forward to the move as the area is really coming along. It will look fab once it is landscaped and completed. Thanks

I'm in two minds about the new roads. I love the road that takes you to Dowtown...and HATE getting in and out of West Heights - in is ok, but getting out is a joke, I feel like I have to zig zag all over the place!!!!

LOVE the new roads. Just drobe in after 6pm and did not have to wait for any traffic! Wine in hand faster! lol! I've used the East Heights gym quite a few times. Dont usually have to wait but i am probably in just before the rush as I start work early. I am a addicted to saunas so loving that too! I hope the places that open have good loyalty schemes for repeat customers.

Yes me, I use the West Heights one. All in all it's a nice gym with a good range of facilities. The only drawback is that there aren't enough cardio machines (particularly treadmills and cross trainers) so you do have to wait a while, and then run to grab a machine if you see that its free. If you're able to use the gym in the day (I go in the evening when it's busiest) then I think it would be really enjoyable.

There's a place in the back by Spinneys opening call "Feet Lounge"...hmmm Feet something! Can't remember!!! I was trying to peer over the signage :D So it looks like us ladies may get a "spa" type place!! Why the men need two "saloons" (got it right this time!!), and we have nothing so far is beyond me!

Wow, that's great news. I would have thought the same like 80% as I guess there will always be LL that buy and don't rent out. I ask because a friend looked for a 2bed a couple of months ago and there was nothing at all, similarly a friend looked for a 1bed and there were only one or two. It's great news that they are busy. The higher the occupancy then the more retail outlets that will be interested in opening etc. So...what's the next outlet to open??? London Dairy? (they had electricity already so it can't be long!)

I think different towers have different occupancies. Tower H is definitely near 100%, and I would think the same for the other towers that were established earlier on (if not near the 90% mark). Towers C, E, and F are emptier - maybe around 70-80%? Then you have tower G which remains unoccupied. I went househunting with a friend a few weeks ago, and most of the apartments she was being shown were in Tower C, E and F. She was looking for a 3-bed tho. Tower H was pretty much unavailable, and the odd few that came on the market were literally snapped up in days. Exec Towers are in high demand and the rents have gone up, but they remain significantly cheaper than Downtown/Old town and easier access than some of the other BB towers. Anyways, that was me just guessing...I may be way off! Oh and all the new roads are now open...just had a look from the balcony. Altho defo chaos at the roundabout next to the metro - lots of beeping of horns!

It will take a few days to settle down I guess. Little by little things are improving! Does anyone know or can hazard a guess what % occupancy ET is running at now?
