Hello ladies,
I am looking for a nursery for DS, starting in January, in the Umm Suqeim 3 area.
Here are the nurseries that I have short-listed for timings and age:
- Kiddy Planet nursery
- London and Paris International nursery
- Baby Land nursery
- Rising Stars nursery
- Kids Zone

Any feedback on any of them would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone know if Knightsbridge nursery still exists?
TIA

Both my kids went to London & Paris, and we were extremely happy with the nursery. My kids didn't go at a very young age though, and my personal opinion is that, the baby section there is way too small. Check them out, the manager, Erna, is an absolute delight. Good luck!

I sent my little ones to Rising Stars - absolutely loved it - very nurturing and they had fun, creative activities for the kids. We were sad to leave when it was time to go to 'real' school.

Have you had a look at Child's Play Nursery in Umm Suqeim 2? I hear they are now under new management and are doing really well. They're also quite economical compared to other nurseries in the area.

Thanks a lot for your recommandations, Kitten 67 and primus.9. I will check these nurseries out. Blossom, however, is above my budget and Kids Palace don't take young babies. Again thanks :-)

Also in the area are Kids Island and their sister nursery Cocoon. Have had personal experience and have recommended them to friends. You can also search the forum for reviews on various nurseries in the area as well.

I highly recommed Blossom Nursery - fantastic place! My daughter went to Knightsbridge but then there was a split in management. One partner set up the Blossom nurseries, the other established Kensington nurseries. Knightsbridge closed around 4 years ago.... Blossom has really good facilities, all year programme and provide healthy food for the kids too. We were very happy there. There is one at Umm Al Sheif which would be nearest for you and another branch at Manara. Check their website or facebook. Other options could be Kids Palace and Little Wonders.........
