My husband and i recieved the same text a few months ago - nice one! Whilst on the subject of Etisalat have you signed up for the free credit? Get different levels of free credit depending on how much you recharge by. Text RW to 1010 to sign up. you have to run your regular credit down to about 2dhs or less then the free credit kicks in - text *121*3# to check free credit balance.

I haven't renewed my wasel as I moved to Du last year but it says valid until 01 Jan 2037 when I dialled *121# - bargain we use it as a visitor's phone ...

Tried it and it did not give me any extension, still expiry 2011 :( Just like me :( CP I just called 101, and they said "we are offering this to selected customers only", and he explained that dialing into *122*2341# will not activate the offer if you have not been selected already. He said dialing that number only shows you the expiry status anyway. But he did add that eventually we all will get the renewal until 2037 automatically and it will be done in phases. So there's still hope for us! :) We are just not in the first phase. <em>edited by Di@DXB on 01/08/2011</em>
