What a nightmare - but as your husband says, you have done your bit so if she gets stopped and detained then it is her own fault. I would be more concerned for your other friend because if they are travelling together she could also be implicated if there is a problem. Cr*p! I didnt even think of that!! They're both driving me a bit mad at the moment to be honest! The one with the meds is just being downright stupid, and the other one, despite being about to come and stay hasnt been intouch since they booked their tickets nearly 3 months ago! "Med friend" told me earlier that she's just going to go to the GP to get some more meds and the GP will just have to sort everything out there. Problem is tho, in my experience, the GP wont have a clue what is required for here, hence me telling her repeatedly to find out for herself so at least she could tell him! I was really looking forwards to having them over but now starting to dread it. Would like to be excited but instead, just getting stressed out of my tree! Grrrrrr!!! :( edited by LMAO-DXB on 26/10/2011

Sad to say, but you did your part and more. If she wants to find out the hard way, she will. I used to have a 'friend' like this, note that 'used to' are the key words.

Well done for being so careful. Actually, you could go one step further and tell her that she cannot stay in your home without permission for the controlled drugs.
