ours comes 6 days a week for 200 a month. Spends 5 minutes raking (yes , raking !!) the paths, picks up all the dropped leaves, hoses the tubs and mows the lawn once a month or when i ask and occasionally flings fertiliser (?) around like he's feeding chickens lol to be honest, i wouldn't recommend him because i think he could do a lot better but we accept that he is reliable and cheap and we're happy to do anything else that needs doing ourselves anyway..

Don't have it too hand but I think they quoted my 600/700dhs for 3 visits a week? I thought that was quite a lot as I'm paying 300 for 3 at the mo, but I guess depends what you are looking for.

We use Belhasa and 2 guys come twice a week for about 2 hours. We have an irrigation system so don't need any watering. They have a supervisor from the Philippines so it's very easy to explain what needs to be done - I go tired of doing charades with other gardners. If there's a problem like a water leak they'll come immediately. I'm really fussy about the gardner but I'm happy with Belhasa. I started using them becasue I noticed they looked after a garden on our street that always looked very well cared for. I have had him for nearly 18 months now and have been waiting for Khaleed to put price up I would actually go up to 500 a month ( don't tell him!!) because I think thats the going rate I live in Alma and we are in one of the largest plots on here ( i.e not a townhouse!) but I believe Khaleed is a good man and as I say if you could get him to 500 a month for 6 days you would still be getting a bargain, hope you sort out a good deal though! they are reliable!

Thanks Dollymud Yes that's the guy I had round, so I'll call Khaleed today and ask him to send the guy 5/6 days a week, could you tell me how much you pay??? I have grass (Irrigation) but the pots I'm sure need every day but don't want to pay a fortune just for watering on some days. Obviously the point is for them to do it all really because I will just get too busy or be away and they will al die :( Thanks

I use city springs and he comes 6 days a week ( fridays off) and honestly at this time of year, and untill winter it really needs watering everyday the odd time ive not done it myself on the gardeners day off, by lunchtime the plants look pretty sad! I have to say though they are really good my garden looks immaculate, people always comment on it.

We have no potted plants and automatic irrigation in the garden so he comes twice a week to clean up, cut the grass, etc. Call Khaleed back and say that the gardener needs to come at least five, even six times a week - it is getting hot - and tell him how much the plants are worth.. if they die, he'll pay?!!! And ask for the final, final best price - he came down quite a bit when my DH did the bargaining :-)

Hi Annie, just wondering how many days does your gardener come? I have a guy here this morning who's doing a good job, but I'm a bit worried as they are telling me they only need to come Sat/Thurs/Sun? surely the pots need to be watered every other day at least? I have some really big expensive ones I don't want to die?!

Hi, after several terrible experiences with various companies, we have finally found a good one, actually through EPW! Call wassim on 050 8860931 from Dream Flowers, we have been using them for a while now, and have recently revamped the whole garden, excellent team. Good luck!

Our fantastic gardener is also employed by City Springs (Khaleed). We live in Mirador la Coleccion so I would think that they do Mirador as well.
