Hi, does anyone know who I can contact to take away an old washing machine? Is there somewhere I could maybe donate it to, bearing in mind the spin cycle isn't working properly so would need fixing. tia

My old place was like that, had couches and all sorts taken away within half hour. In an apartment now though so didn't fancy lugging it outside! Thanks for the link Di. really easy to sort out and they are coming tomorrow. Woohoo now I can get excited for my new washer arriving, what has my life become!

I *heart* that kind of recycling. Just about everything I've been putting out by the bin in the last couple of weeks has gone withing minutes :)

I put a water cooler outside my house the other day and it was gone in 30 mins! Did think i would take it back into garage that evening but in the end didn't need to :)
