I'm looking for boy costumes for a 3 1/2 yr old and a 14 month old. The oldest is wanting a spiderman costume. We checked Geant, C4, dragonmart, centerpoint, and party world in motorcity. Most are for girls or way too big for my kids. Any idea where to get some??

What about White Star (I think that is their name) down in the Blue Beach Center building on Jumeriah Beach Road. They always have a huge pile of costumes. I bought my son a Buzz Lightyear from there and paid 285 dhs. I should be shot at sunrise for paying that much. I didn't convert it fast enough and after I left I realized how much I paid and was sick. They are non refundable, no if, ands, or buts. Buzz doesn't even have wings and I saw much better ones at ELC for half the price. All the costumes at that shop were pricey. I don't know why I didn't turn and run. Sorry to hear that - I thought their prices were quite reasonable - but maybe I was comparing their prices to hiring something from Mr B's Closet!

Town Center, Beach Road, Jumeriah (directly after Dubai Zoo) has 2 party shops with a huge selection of kids and adults costumes, The shop upstairs is quite a bit cheaper than the one downstairs, so if you are going, make the upstairs shop your 1st call.

Yes it it highly priced, I brought an Alice in Wonderland outfit and although its cute it was 240dhs!! A lot for a dress up.

I saw quite a lot of costumes in Toy Store at MOE including a couple for babies/toddlers and I'm quite sure they had some Spiderman costume too. Didn't look at those so not sure of the size though.

Spinneys do not have any small sizes (unless they have new stock) I checked twice and nothing for aged 3-5 age range. Elc in AR had spiderman I think! there sizes are from 3 years plus. I have only seen baby outfits at Pottery barn Kids MCC and they are 240dhs plus!!! and Mama's and Papa's today but the had skeletons, Pumpkins or witches. Mothercare had pumpkins that was about it, I'm looking for 12month sizes and not seen anything I'm after either...........
