We have always lived in the Marina or JBR so we have always had to go with Etisalat. Now we are about to move to a villa and we have the option of Etisalat. Just wondering if one was a lot better than the other - or anything else I should know about.

can't wait to move to Du for internet - our Etisalat connection in Barsha is so slow it's going backwards at times! It's like another world when I've been round friends' homes who are with Du. Saying that though I've always been happy with Etisalat's mobile phone service.

I've never tried etisalat for home package. du is pretty decent but their customer service is really bad, but i guess etisalat's just as bad. or worse? based on feedback here.

if it makes the Etisalat deal any sweeter, they are doing special promotions for new subscribers to their E-life packages, which is free installation and a month free, until end of August. If broadband speed is an issue, you can opt for a package that gives you 16 or 32 mgb depending on what you need, or as little as 1 or 8. We've always found the service to be a good one, fantastic HD picture and responsive service, but then we have never had Du to compare it to. Hopefully you find something you like! Enjoy your new apartment!

Du all the way! moved to a new apt. and only have etisalat here..missing du :( their internet is much faster and the TV service is very sophisticated..and i think they hav cut down on their internet rates, so cheaper too, but i am not very sure about that. Agree all the way, Du so much better than Etisalat. If you are moving to Umm Suqueim you will probably have to have Etisalat. Du and Etisalat are gradually moving into each others areas, one day you will have the choice, it is already available in some areas, but when the whole of Dubai - InShallah
