If you go to the polo club, drive up to the main club house and take a stroll around. In the afternoons there are always lessons going on, and there are horses in the paddocks. You wont have to pay for that. You could even ask someone if you can take a walk through the stables, Im sure they wont object.
I know the Polo club does stable tours. Alternatively you can try the desert ranch where they have horses, camels donkeys goats and lots more.
