My daughter, aged 16, needs CAS hours for her IB Diploma, which means she would teach your son for free. She was at school in French until last year and is very good at basic grammar and of course speaks fluently. I honestly don't know how good she is at teaching, though. Do you want to see what your son's French teacher advises and maybe we could work something out - have a trial meet, at least? I'm sorry, I've no idea what age Grade 8 is.. If you would like to contact me, my email addy is: simpleasanniebc at gmail dot com. Please let me know when you have this so that I can take it down.

Hi OBO, You can send him to Alliance Francaise or take a private tutor for him. One of my friends is a french tutor and she gives french class at Raffles. Can give you her number if you wish.

My 8th grader son has just failed his school French language test. This is the first time he is taking French in school as we have relocated to Dubai this summer. How can I help him in doing well . I don' t know French myself. I am organizing a parent teacher meeting with the french teacher .Should I keep a private tutor or send him to a center but where ,,!? Any advise from a parent is appreciated.
