have u ever tried pizza on khuboos (arabic bread) its quick and delicious jst spread pizza sause (try dolmio/ragu's) add sliced onion, tomato, capscicum, black olives and yop off with mozarella cheese bake in preheated oven till cheese is melted Arabic Bread is fresh, cheap and easy to use and also healthy. Grill one side first lightly and then lash on olive oil nad also dolmio and garlic and then you can literally add anything that you like (roasted veg/chicken/ ham and mushroom/peperoni/mixed cheses) and add oregano to the top - grill again and then add freshly chopped basil - YUM!!

If you are after a pizza base then I swear by Jamie Olivers Pizza dough recipe, its yummy and freezes brilliantly. I get 4 big pizzas out of his recipe (fits a oblong prestige tray if that helps). He says it will make 6-8 medium pizzas. Its very easy - 1. 1Kg Strong bread flour 2. 1 tablespoon fine ground sea salt 3. 650ml lukewarm water 4. 14gms instant yeast - the best yeast to use is DCL Instant Yeast in the sachets dont buy the tin its rubbish! 5. 1 tablespoon of caster sugar 6. 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil Sieve 1 and 2 together in a big bowl or mixer Mix 3,4,5,6 together in a big jug and leave to stand for a minute so the yeast activates. Add wet mix to the dry and knead Put in a big floured bowl with a bit of flour on top and a moistened teatowel Leave to stand until it doubles in size Use or cut and freeze

What exactly are you looking for? Recipe for crust? Something different for toppings? I have a crust recipe. Also have great recipes with prawns, bbq chicken or vege depending on which you prefer. Homemade crust is great but it is a bit of a pain so given frozen crusts are readily available here.......I often buy them rather than make them if it is for family rather than guests as not worth the additional effort (especially since you really need pizza pan). edited by Catawba KSE on 10/10/2011
