Any experience from the iftar buffets in the hotels this year? For example Atlantis / Jumeirah Beach Hotel?

Ritz Carlton has been my favorite always - just looking for some nice place to take visitors out next week.

My friend went to the Atlantis Iftar on Thursday and was on the next table to Sheikh Mo... !! Incidently I went to that one last year and the food was great...But no Sheikh Mo.... ;-( Is it a iftar buffet ? How much they charge ?

the qamardeen in downtown does a really lovey iftar, have been the last few years. also the palace downtown does a lovely one, they have tents outside by the pool with a beautiful view of the burj khalifa.

I actually posted a similar thread looking for traditional iftars. Just recently found a deal on moosavings online for the copthorne hotel for only 59, its an iftar buffet, I'll try it this weekend =)

It seems to me that the hotel iftar buffets are all really expensive this year - far more expensive than in previous years. IMHO they have gone up to an amount that I'm no longer prepared to pay, even though the quality is good. On the Entertainer website there are some 2 for the price of 1 offers for Iftar, but I haven't tried any out yet.
