I know I will get lynched for saying this, but do any of these tests ever tell you that you aren't allegic to anything? Just as an update to my post a couple of weeks ago my daughter has been following the diet for 3 weeks but last Friday we went 4 brunch and she had a blow out on all the forbidden foods and got all the skin rashes again next day so it's def very effective testing. Can't comment on the reintroduction though ! edited by angela on 12/09/2011

When I went to the doctors and was told I had IBS, I asked if I could possibly have a food intolerance and the doc told me that it was very unlikely at my age! I am 37. He said if I had been intolerant from a toddler age then maybe but u don't just get intolerant at my age ! I am confused now.I was under the impression u could become intolerant to things u previously were ok with. Does this post make sense? Not sure I have worded it very well! Mind u, he gave me tablets for my IBS and they have certainly helped alot so I am not complaining! Just thought I'd share the info! Edited because predictive text is rubbish! edited by MIRDIFMUMMY on 12/09/2011

I had this done at DLC, as I knew I had to be allergic to something as my stomach was just not right. BUPA, my medical insurance company paid for the whole thing. The test results were pretty realistic and my doctor told me to stick off those kinds of foods (milk, red kidney beans!) for 4 - 6 months and then start to slowly introduce them back into my system. I feel so much better and no more problems with my stomach, it hasn't been 4 - 6 motnhs yet, so I will see how that goes!

I did mine 5 months ago at herbal and treatment center. Did not eliminate bad foods completely but greatly reduced it from that time on. Feeling very good and not deprived since I am having bad foods once in a while. Did not have any mjor intolerance though - small numbers for gluten, cocoa and kiwi and sunflower seeds. So not so many items to remember. What was the surprise is that I was intolerant to spirulina, which I never actually had and which is not considered highly used in any food items. So really was surprised since it is known that youndevelop allergies for foods which you consume often! That why rotation diet is extremely good to treat or prevent any intollerances

My daughter has just had the imupro 300 test done at medcare via the dermatologist there. Altogether it cost about 4000 dhs which included consultation imupro test and subsequent report and eating plan as well as other medical related blood tests. It flagged up wheat oats etc eggs and all dairy except soya as the main probs and 20 oe so other random things!! Imagine trying to enforce this with a 14 yr old!! This is the problem for me, as I know I have a reaction to lots basic foods. It will be very difficult to cut out most of the foods I know are causing the problems, I wont be able to eat anything really.

I also had mine done at Dubai London Clinic but beach road . It was covered by my insurance and didn't even have to wait for approval. I agree with Godilocks , I definately feel better for cutting the food out that they suggested .

I had mine done at Dubai London Clinic Festival City..AED1700! I stuck to mine for 6 weeks but then detoured due to travelling etc and its very hard to follow as just about everything I ate was cut out (dairy, carbs etc). I deffinitely had more energy though when I was following it and felt so much better, also lost a few kg very easily and felt much better for it. Am slowly getting back onto it now.
