No, ur not supposed to even shower a couple of hours after waxing in order to prevent in grown hairs. When I was getting married, and I had to do both on the same day, I did the hammam first and then the waxing. Oh I don't think she thought of that. I'll pass on that suggestion Probably because after becoming gloriously clean from the hammam, the last thing you want to do is ruin the feeling with waxing! If I could have, I would have done them on different days but like your friend, had to do them both on the same day.

Yeah mine too..my skin gets really red after waxing and takes a few hours for it to go down! I told her to leave a couple of days gap, but she's travelling and won't get much time. Ah well thanks everyone :) edited by nat123 on 31/01/2011

absolutely not :) unless you want bumps and sore skin. 24 hours minimum.

Depends on your skin type... If your skin is not sensitive enough then perhaps you could go for it.. In my case, the skin is a bit raw after the wax. I can see the red spots everywhere and I wash my hands with cold water and use an antiseptic cream on that. I wouldn't dare to go for a scrub. Would end up feeling sore all over.

Just the thought of that makes me cringe. I've never tried doing that, but my arms and legs are so sensitive after waxing, I would never dream of having a scrub down afterward. I guess everyone's reactions are different..?
