Hi
I live in Layan and have a 2 year old son who goes to the nursery. He loves it there and it's great being able to walk through the landscaping in the morning and afternoon to take him there and back. His class were without a teacher for January but the teaching assistants are great. His new teacher has just started and when I went to collect him today, she was sitting amongst them singing away while he was dancing. I liked the feel of the nursery as it's closed classrooms so although there are a lot of children attending, it doesn't feel like it. I also like the way they move the children around so they have a seperate music and dance room and painting room as well as the outside area - it's not as if they are in the classroom for the whole day. Although i've not experienced any other nursery, my son looks forward to going there and is happy to tell me what he's been up to when I collect him so that's a good sign for me.
As for living in Layan, normally you don't hear noise from the 611 but if it's windy like today obviously you can. As below, we are all eagerly awaiting Choitrams to open to save the drive to Motorcity or the Ranches and the gym is all equipped and ready to go (but not open yet). As for the road, you can access the 611 from it and you get used to driving through global village to get in.
All-in-all I love living here and being able to walk about with my son and at his age the playground is fine.
Hope this helps
haha I was just saying to my DH how I liked how laylan had the pathways and was better landscaped than Al Waha.
I haven't noticed recycling in Al Waha either although I haven't been here for a month. Muskiet how high is your DEWA? Our company was paying it up until last month so I'm a little curious how high its going to be
